MR AND BWR PLYWOOD

 Kamdhenu Moisture Resistant (MR) and Boiling Water Resistant (BWR) plywood are made from high quality core veneers of uniform thickness. The bonding of veneers is done using Melamine Urea Formaldehyde resin for MR grade and Phenol Formaldehyde resin for BWR grade to conform to IS:303 standard. It is dimensionally stable and durable for lasting service. Bonded with high quality resins it is pressed under heat, pressure and controlled conditions to obtain superior plywood.
Most insects when attack a wood based panel, bore into the core for food, the core of Kamdhenu contains certain complex chemicals, which makes it Termite and Borer resistant. MR grade is used mainly for indoors like office and computer furniture, wall panelling, partitions etc., whereas BWR grade can also be used for Kitchen and Bathroom Furniture, Wall mounting and exterior use. Kamdhenu offers both alternate and hardware options.
This plywood is available in the standard sizes (in meters) 2.44x1.22, 2.14x1.22, 1.84x1.22, 2.44x0.92, 2.14x0.92 and 1.84x 0.92; and in thickness 4mm, 6mm, 8/9mm, 12mm, 15/16mm and 18/19mm. |
